CASA DE HOSPEDES MAREJA
The site of the Mareja, magnificent, is an ancient colonial coffee plantation, abandoned to independence and whose buildings were partially destroyed during the civil war. Located on the southern edge of Quirimbas National Park, in its terrestrial area - the renovated buildings gradually stand up on a hill and enjoy a wonderful panorama of the surrounding bush. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The meals are rich and excellent. Dominik and Sophie are charming. Walking walks are offered with the hope (rather thin) of meeting elephants, koudous and other bush bush hawks. Bird lovers will surely be better rewarded. Cultural tours are also in the program. A good climbing site has been built on the inselberg (Mount Nicanue) which overlooks the property. All income from these activities is paid back to the local community.
