Since March 2018, the Flixmobility group (the Flixbus group) has ventured onto the rails with the creation of Flixtrain, a train network competing with Deutsche Bahn. There are several lines in Germany. From Basel in Switzerland to Hanover via Frankfurt. Compartments are equipped with electrical outlets and free wifi access. Flixtrain's advantage over Deutsche Bahn: seat reservation is included in the price. Purchasing an e-ticket is very simple on the application or website.
