The MVV (Münchner Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund) brings together transport operators in the city and surrounding region. The fare policy allows you to travel with a single ticket on any mode of transport: bus, streetcar, U-Bahn and S-Bahn. There are several fare zones: M corresponds to the city of Munich, and the other zones (from 1 to 6) are organized in concentric circles around it. The airport, for example, is in zone 4. Streifenkarte also available. The MVV also offers a special fare for children aged 6 to 14.
