HOTEL OPERA * * * *
A 4 star hotel, full of charm and well located.
Built on the water, above the Eisbach, a small, bubbling stream in the English Garden, the Hotel Opéra, a palace dating from 1898, served as a larder for the king's court (seafood was preserved in ice-cold water). The hotel's façade is reminiscent of an Italian Renaissance palace. Transformed into a hotel in the 1970s, the rooms are furnished with antiques and the Renaissance courtyard is a real eye-catcher. Breakfast included, wifi. Lots of charm in this 4-star hotel, with its rooms decorated with antiques.

Our room 43 was very run down, the sitting chairs are so worn out and dirty that you can’t sit in them. The white carpet was very dirty with stains and even a blood stain.
We checked in late at night and had to move to a new hotel by 8:00am
The hotel would not refund us for the next stay.
This is a dive hotel should be a $75 motel.
