One of the most luxurious hotels in Munich, with the most expensive suites in the city.
A magnificent luxury hotel in a prestigious Munich street. Take advantage of the various lounges during your stay. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious and decorated with great refinement. The hotel's history dates back to the 19th century, when it was opened at the request of King Max II. Upstairs, you can enjoy the swimming pool and the entire wellness complex. Spa open to outsiders (€60 per day, €75 at weekends).

My wife and I stayed for one night following a Danube river cruise. We booked through American Express Platinum's Fine Hotel and Resorts benefit and could not have been more impressed. From check-in to check-out the service was superlative in every way. Fantastic lunch in the Schwarzreiter Resturant, Kaffee and Pastry in the gorgeous lobby that afternoon, followed by a great breakfast the next morning. The staff is well-dressed, courteous and highly professional. Fully conversant in English, but hey, Americans, learn some basic German and engage, a little Duolingo will take you far. Our room was marvelous and probably had the most comfortable bed (a king) I've ever slept in a hotel of this class. Wine, water, bread sticks and olives were a nice touch. Details matter. It was a great way to end our trip and explore yet another beautiful European city. So many things to see walking distance from the hotel (Marienplatz, Odeonsplatz, Residenz, St. Peter's Church.) Final word of advice...forego an expensive cab or uber and take the S8 from Marienplatz to the airport (under 30 Euros for 2.) This was great recommendation from the fine fellow who checked us out. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

I had a really bad experience with the staff from the hotel parking. One of the guys behaved very hostile, even verbally agressive, his behavior being unappropriate to a five star hotel. I recommend the management team to select their personnel more carefully. This guy does not belong there. Really ruined my day.
