The Fünf Höfe are a group of five courtyards that form a pleasant and lively shopping arcade in the heart of Munich, between Theatinerstraße and Kardinal-Faulhaber-Straße. The plans were drawn up by the Swiss architects Herzog and de Meuron. In total, some 60 high-end shops on about 14,000 square metres, as well as eight cafés and restaurants. The Hypo-Kunsthalle, which presents temporary exhibitions on various themes, artists and periods, is also located here. It is a pleasant place to stroll through the city.
