The Kocherlball is a popular ball that takes place every year at the foot of the Chinesischer Turm in Munich's English Garden.

The Kocherlball is a popular dance that takes place every year at the foot of the Chinesischer Turm in Munich's English Garden. It is a delightfully retro ball where many dance aficionados dress up in their finest costumes for the occasion: whether it is a Lederhose, a Dirndl, a uniform or a 19th century fashionable outfit. Waltz, polka and other traditional dances are performed. And since the ball is held in the middle of the park, there are no neighbours to interrupt the party, which lasts until the early hours of the morning.
