OFFICE DE TOURISME (HÔTEL DE VILLE)
Munich's new city hall is located north of Marienplatz. Its architecture is largely inspired by that of the Gothic town hall in Brussels, erected in the XVᵉ century. Built between 1899 and 1908, it was opened to the public in 1909. The town hall is an example of the neo-Gothic style and stands 85 meters high. It houses the administrative offices of Munich's city council. Visitors can admire the magnificent facade of the Town Hall and enjoy panoramic views of the city from the tower. Private guided tours are also available for those wishing to learn more about the history and architecture of City Hall.
