Schleißheim is a complex of three baroque castles in a gigantic park north of Munich.
Another Wittelsbach residence! And the Schleißheim estate, north of Munich, is absolutely gigantic! First, there is the park, which is built around canals and formal gardens. Then there are the three castles built in the 17th and 18th centuries: theAltes Schloss (Old Castle), the Neues Schloss (New Castle) and the Schloss Lustheim (Pleasure House). In short, a day trip is required for a complete visit.
