DEUTSCHES THEATERMUSEUM
Theater museum showcasing the history of German-language theater, with photographs, autographs, sets, masks and costumes.
The German Theater Museum is located in the former foundation of the actress Clara Ziegler (1844-1909). The whole history of the German-speaking theater is exhibited with nearly 2 million photographs, the largest collection of the world, over 50,000 autographs, sets, masks and costumes used in coin performances. For amateurs it is the ideal place to know a little more about this art. This museum offers a beautiful dive into the history of the theater overseas. There is no permanent exhibition. Like this living art, the museum wants to present ephemeral exhibits, it is evolutionary to be able to present some aspects of German theater.
