This former botanical garden now has the appearance of a small urban square.
This small, half-moon-shaped area has been the botanical garden since it was created during the reign of Maximilian I. After the Second World War it was moved entirely to Nymphenburg Palace. Today, the park has taken on the appearance of a small city square, but the Neptune Fountain by Joseph Wackerle can still be admired here. The Parkcafé is a café, a restaurant and a beer garden all in one. It's an inviting place to take a break while visiting the city...
