Former hunting lodge converted into a hotel with attractive rooms near the Dachau S-Bahn station.

The history of the Hotel Burgmeier begins in the 19th century. In 1861, Katharina Bayer received this hunting lodge belonging to the Wittelsbachs as a gift. Together with her husband Florian Burgmeier, she converted the lodge into a hotel. In the 1900s, several painters of the Munich School took up residence here. Today it is a clean hotel with nice rooms, not really central, but close to a S-Bahn station (Dachau-Stadt), so that you can get to the centre of the Bavarian capital very quickly.

Waren 2 Nächte in diesem Hotel. Die Zimmer waren sehr renovierungsbedürftig, das Bett knarrte bei jeder Bewegung, die Programme im TV waren nicht richtig eingestellt und die Heizung funktionierte nicht.
Das Abendessen war nicht gut und beim Frühstück musste man immer nachfragen.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Service. In dem kleinen familiär geführten Hotel fühlt man sich als Gast willkommen. So haben wir beispielsweise noch ein paar Tips zur Erkundung der Gegend bekommen. Unsere Fahrräder durften wir sicher verstaut in der Garage abstellen. Wer den persönlichen Kontakt und Service schätzt, ist hier am richtigen Ort.
Wir bedanken uns für die Gastfreundschaft und kommen gerne wieder. Familie Nennmann

Ok place for a short stay, in summer be careful of hot rooms on top floor, no fans and no a/C available, a lot of mosquitoes and flies if you open the windows.
