Very beautiful and huge traditional chalet refurbished in old style in Partenkirchen. Superb view on the mountains.
Very beautiful and huge traditional chalet, cosy and charming with its painted facade, its flowered balconies and its green shutters. The hotel has been refurbished but it still has a very appreciated old style. Here, the wood dominates and creates a natural and soothing atmosphere. One wonders where the name comes from(schatten means "shadow" in German) as the site is so bright. The view of the mountains from most of the rooms is superb. The hotel is a 3-minute walk from Ludwigstraße, the pedestrian street and main thoroughfare of Partenkirchen.
