Did you know that the author of The Neverending Story - Michael Ende - came from here? The park is named after the Garmisch-Partenkirchen native. Today it is a place of relaxation in the heart of the city. In summer, daily concerts are held here, ranging from big band to classical music (www.musik-im-park.de). Throughout the year, the Kurpark is also a place for temporary exhibitions, especially in the Kurpark's spa house.
