A very nice hotel on the lakeside, with sauna.
Originally, the Westerhof was a stronghold of the Benedictine monastery of Tegernsee. Wood, meat, milk, cheese and grain were produced on the Westerhof's land by the farmers and delivered to the monastery. Beautiful, luxurious and tastefully decorated rooms, very natural materials (light-coloured wood) and an Olympian calm. The hotel is nestled on the heights of the Tegernsee lake in a large park and offers the ideal setting for a relaxing stay. The highlight is the sauna with a view of the lake.
