A perfect hotel to visit the old town of Ingolstadt on foot.
Located in the heart of the old town, the oldest hostel in the city, with a history dating back to the 15th century, has been owned by the Hurler family since 1938. Now a 3-star hotel, it offers everything you need for a pleasant stay. The armours in the entrance hallway set the scene as soon as you arrive at the hotel, but the comfort is definitely that of the 21st century: shower, TV, free wifi everywhere, etc. Small sports-fitness and relaxation area (with sauna). Parking in the courtyard. Breakfast from 6am.

Het ontbijt was goed geregeld en er was ruime keuze. Veel vers fruit, yoghurt, broodjes enz. Er wordt gevraagd of je een eitje bij je ontbijt wilt. Allerlei keuzes mogelijk, ook met spek.
Vriendelijk personeel en op een toplocatie midden in het oude centrum van Ingolstadt met winkeltjes en eetgelegenheden. Parkeren kan op de binnenplaats van het hotel. Het is daar wat krap, maar nog steeds prima te doen. En anders schuin tegenover het hotel parkeren. Ze hebben 3 (?) oude gewone fietsen staan die je gratis mag gebruiken. Wij zijn een stukje langs de Donau gefietst.
Al met al een leuk verblijf in een mooi karakteristiek hotel.
