DREIEINIGKEITSKIRCHE
A beautiful protestant lutheran church in a catholic town. Exceptional view from the north-east tower of the church.
A superb 17th century Lutheran church, built in the middle of the Thirty Years' War. The most impressive thing about this church, which has no columns, is the carved wooden gallery (the one that allows you to access the tower). The northeast bell tower is a must. The climb up the steps is rewarded by an exceptional 360° view. You can see the whole of Regensburg's old town: its red roofs, its medieval towers and its magnificent Gothic cathedral. A must, just for this view.
