Landshut District Hospital, known as Bezirkskrankenhaus, is a medical facility located in Landshut. It has several departments, including the clinic for psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychosomatics. The clinic comprises ten wards with a total of 210 beds, a day clinic with 20 places and an outpatient clinic. All adult mental illnesses can be treated in this clinic, with specialized units for each pathology. Treatment is provided on an individual and group basis, using scientifically sound methods. The head of department is Prof. Dr. Hermann Spießl, and the head of clinic is Priv.-Doz. Dr Jürgen Unger.
