Very good address that this modern hotel, as new and with a lot of charm. Very clean, the service is also impeccable. There are small fridge-minibars in the rooms for those late night hunger pangs and a whole wellness area with a whirlpool, Finnish sauna and steam bath to relax in during your stay in Passau. 24-hour reception in the veranda near the terrace. Hotel bar open daily. 10 minutes walk to Passau city centre. Central and yet very green.

We picked this as an overnight stop coming back from Austria. Reasonable price for the last minute stay. Room small and simple, no complaints. One big plus was our room had a table top fan!! Another to note if your room has two twin beds pushed together, they’re on wheels, so do not fall in the crack because the beds move easily. I will also note that it sits on a hill, so if you’re interested in walking to the city center, you’ll have to walk up a hill back to the hotel.

We were told we could park on the street between the lamp posts if we left by 10am, which we left much earlier so no issue, so we did not pay to park. But they did offer an underground garage for a charge I believe. Breakfast was quite simple to include cold meats, small pastries, eggs, sausages, bacon, yogurt and cereal. Coffee, juice, water as well. We would definitely stay here again while visiting Passau!

Leider eine sehr unschöne Erfahrung, trotz Buchungsbestätigung war zu der gebuchten Zeit kein Zimmer frei. Die unfreundliche Empfangsdame sah sich leider auch erst nach langer Diskussion in der Lage, uns ein anderes Zimmer zuzuweisen - was zunächst auch noch 20€ Aufpreis für einen "verfrühten Check-in" kosten sollte. Insgesamt unnötiger zusätzlicher Stress für alle Beteiligten, das hätte auch vermieden werden können.

Laut Buchungsbestätigung Check-in ab 12 Uhr, an der Rezeption hieß es dann, erst ab 15 Uhr. Da wir zu einer Veranstaltung mussten, schlug man uns vor, im Foyer die Koffer zu öffnen und sich auf der Toilette umzuziehen. Niemand entschuldigte sich dafür, im Gegenteil, man behauptete, das stände auf der Homepage, und früher einchecken koste 20 Euro extra. Beides ist nicht auf der Homepage zu finden, auch nicht während der Buchung. Wenn ich eine Buchungsbestätigung auf 12 Uhr habe möchte ich ab diesem Zeitpunkt auch einchecken können, deshalb hatte ich dieses Hotel gebucht. Nach einer halben Stunde Diskussion war das Zimmer dann fertig. Die Dame, die putzt, saß im Zimmer gegenüber auf dem Sofa und bediente ihr Handy. Ich kann dieses Hotel definitiv nicht empfehlen, unsägliche Diskussionen mit dem Gast an der Rezeption sind inakzeptabel.
