Without doubt the most beautiful youth hostel in Nuremberg, housed in the former imperial castle stables.

The youth hostel is located in an exceptional building, in the former imperial stables. This exceptional location and its medieval architecture give it an undeniable cachet, combined with modern and comfortable furnishings. More than 90 rooms and no less than 300 beds revisit this fabulous vestige where old stones mingle with modernity. Superb view of the old town from some rooms. Lovely welcome.

the hostel was nice it has big comfy rooms. it is warm in winter. when you are waiting for check-in, you can get free tea and sparkling water. it has a big castle next to it. And the rooms are not sound proff. and rooms smells a bit like cigarettes.

We stayed at this youth hostel for 2 nights as a family of 3 during the Christmas period. The location is very good, you can reach the big New Year's market in a very short time. My daughter really liked sleeping in the bunk beds and staying in the castle. The system is a little different; you put on and take off your sheets by yourself and throw them into the laundry room when you leave. There is no hair dryer, shampoo, soap, water etc. in the room. If you need it, bring the with you when you’re coming. Keeping in mind that it is a youth hotel, if you do not come with hotel expectations, it is very enjoyable to stay ☺️

Ich habe hier im November 2022 zwei Nächte verbracht. Bin ohne jegliche Voranmeldung aufgeschlagen und habe ohne Probleme ein Bett im Mehrbettzimmer bekommen, mein Fahrrad konnte ich in einem abgeschlossenen Bereich unterbringen. War am nächsten Morgen total von dem riesigen Frühstücksangebot überrumpelt. Damit hatte ich in einer Jugendherberge nicht gerechnet.

Sehr schöne Jugendherberge in alten Gemäuern. Personal meist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Super Aussicht aus den oberen Stockwerken auf die Altstadt, bei guten Wetter auch weit darüber hinaus. Absolut empfehlenswert

Wir waren als Familie mit vier Personen in der Jugendherberge.
Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
-Das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit
- Das Zimmer sauber,ruhig und modern natürlich mit den typischen Betten einer Jugendherberge;-)
- Das Essen reichhaltig, Abwechslungsreich und lecker
- Die Lage ist top, wenn man von den Höhenmetern absieht die man während des Aufenthalts bewältigt:-)
