The Blue Night is a major art event that has been held in the city centre of Nuremberg every year since 2000. For the occasion - and to create a unique atmosphere - the city is decked out in blue light and there are light projections everywhere. With about 130,000 visitors, this Blue Night is considered the biggest night of culture and museums in Germany. Music, dance, theatre, cabaret, museums, guided tours, performances and installations - the programme is extremely varied.
