Catholic church featuring a clock installed in honor of Emperor Charles IV.
Built in the 14th century, it is the main Catholic church in Nuremberg. Its special feature is its western façade. Every day at noon, the "Männleinlaufen", a clock installed in 1509 in honour of Emperor Charles IV (Emperor from 1355 to 1378), can be seen. When the musicians move their instruments, the seven electors walk around the emperor and bow to him. A spectacle not to be missed!
