MUSEUM TUCHERSCHLOSS
A museum where you can find out more about the Hirsvogelsaal and the life of a Renaissance patrician family called Truchers.
This museum - in the former home of the Tucher family - provides an insight into the life of a patrician family during the Renaissance. The prosperity of this merchant family allowed it to become a patron of the arts. In the 19th century, the Tuchers helped finance the first train between Nuremberg and Fürth and opened a brewery that still bears their name.
Not to be missed during the visit: the Hirsvogelsaal, a superb Renaissance hall, rebuilt in the 2000s.
