This shop sells the best gingerbread in town(Lebkuchen) and, during the traditional Christmas market, you can even watch the making of this delicacy. Other Christmas sweets include delicious Kipferl, crescent-shaped dry cookies made with powdered almonds. Schmidt's also sells tiny packages of Lebkuchen for those who don't have much room left in their suitcase, but want to take home a little souvenir. The service is professional and smiling.
