ROTHENBURGMUSEUM
The city's historical museum exhibits a collection of art relating to the city's culture, including sculptures, weapons, paintings, etc.
This former Dominican cloister now houses the city's historical museum. In the kitchen (from the 13th century!) and some of the rooms, you will discover a collection of art on the culture of the city with, among other things, sculptures, earthenware, weapons, objects of daily life of the time and, above all, the highlight of the visit, twelve paintings by the painter Martinus Schwarz representing the Rothenburger Passion (1494). Behind the museum, the Klostergarten or monastery garden is a very pleasant place to take a break.
