KNAUF MUSEUM
Vast collection of Egyptian, Roman, etc. reliefs (beware, these are not the originals!).
A vast collection of Egyptian, Roman, Mesopotamian, Persian, etc. reliefs (beware, these are not the originals!). In all, more than 200 replicas of pieces from the world's most famous museums (Louvre, British Museum, etc.) are on display at the Knauf Museum. Since its opening in 1983, visitors have been able to see plaster reliefs inspired by objects from all over the world and from a wide variety of eras. The museum is named after the patron, collector and plasterer Alfons N. Knauf. Temporary exhibitions about once a year.
