BÖTTINGERHAUS
Baroque palace with refined facade, ornate courtyard, well-arranged windows and sublime skylights.
Between 1707 and 1713, the alderman Ignaz Tobias Böttinger had this magnificent baroque palace built on the model of the Italian palazzi. The building houses a courtyard with rich ornaments and splendid decorations. Look at the refined facade with its wooden carriage gate beautifully framed with carved leaves, and the atlatls, lasciviously leaning against the central window of the beautiful floor. The higher you look, the more richly ornamented the window frames and the roof dormers are simply sublime.
