Today, this beautiful little château has been transformed into an artists' home hosting performances and cultural events.
This handsome little castle stands on the banks of the Regnitz, the river that flows through Bamberg. The land was donated by Prince-Bishop Lothar Franz von Schönborn to Ignaz Tobias Böttinger (who also built the beautiful Böttingerhaus nearby). Today, the castle has been converted into a Künstlerhaus(artists' house), where performances and cultural events take place. The most beautiful panoramic view of Schloss Concordia is from the opposite bank of the Regnitz.
