Open since 1985, this museum of Franconian Switzerland allows visitors to understand the region from a number of different angles: the geological history of the region, and above all its human history, with reconstructed 19th-century living quarters and traditional costumes. The courtyard also features an 18th-century synagogue. Don't forget to take a walk on the Tüchersfeld heights to appreciate the cliff landscapes.
