BURG GÖSSWEINSTEIN
Built in the 11th century, the building was given a neo-Gothic look only very late. The panorama is grandiose.
Built in the 11th century, this fortress on a rock was given a neo-Gothic look only very late, a little over a hundred years ago. The panorama from all sides is grandiose. On the south side, there is a small refreshment bar that is sunny in good weather. Inside the castle, there is not much to visit, only a few rooms and the dungeon, absolutely frightening: 50 meters by 40, completely deprived of light. Legend has it that the fortress inspired Wagner to write his Parsifal.
