In his small business, Hannes brings together Florence and Bayreuth, Tuscany and Franconia. Germanists sensitive to the subtleties of the Franconian dialect will have recognized in the "la" ending the diminutive equivalent of "lein" in standard German, a lovely blend of the two languages. The bread is homemade, produced on site and absolutely delicious. The produce is fresh and the focaccias are perfect for a quick bite to eat at a low price. Just opposite, the large square at the foot of the Neues Schloss offers plenty of benches for eating in the sun or shade.
