Attractive guesthouse with comfortable rooms and hearty breakfasts at excellent value in Bayreuth.

This is a nice pension not far from the Villa Wahnfried, Richard Wagner's home. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is generous. Please note that the pension has two addresses and that breakfast is served in the main building. This establishment is distinguished by its excellent value for money, it must be said that the prices are quite unbeatable in this category! From this location, you can get around on foot, which is a real advantage.

War eine nette kleine Pension, war sauber und schön ordentliches Zimmer. Standort war auch sehr gut. Frühstück kann ich nichts zu sagen, habs verschlafen. Aber alles in allem war das aufjedenfall gut.

Eine wirklich schöne, zentral gelegene und gut ausgestattete und ruhige Unterkunft mit sehr gutem Frühstück, Preis-Leistungs-verhältnis top! Einziger Nachteil war, dass es im Altbau kein WLAN gab - vielleicht könnte sich das in Zukunft ändern?

Wir hatten zwei Einzelzimmer im Gästehaus. Möbel, Böden und Duschen sind neu, die Zimmer an sich abgewohnt, in einem Zimmer hing der Handtuchhalter nur noch an einer Schraube schief in der Wand. Die Farbe der Wände war undefinierbar, wie aus Farbresten zusammengemischt. Alles sehr lieblos, auch im Frühstücksraum im Haupthaus. WLAN ging nur im 1. Stock, im 2. war kein Empfang mehr.
Aber: Es war sehr sauber, Personal freundlich, Frühstück gut, nachts war es absolut ruhig und der Hofgarten ist nur ein paar Schritte entfernt, so dass man super zu Fuß in die Stadt gehen kann.

Aber für eine Nacht ok.

I loved my stay at Pension Zum Edlen Hirschen. My room was perfect: simple, clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent and beautifully displayed by before 7AM. I love the location, nice and quiet spot near Wahnfried and town. I stayed here during the 2023 Festspiel and it was the perfect spot!
