The city of Bayreuth can boast a brand new music festival that rediscovers little-known Baroque operas. Although its first edition - in September 2020 - was marred by the covid-19 pandemic, the festival has a bright future in the city that, along with Wagner, is already attracting music lovers from all over the world. The Bayreuth Baroque Festival is held in the magnificent setting of the Margraves' Opera House in the heart of the city. Among the headliners in 2021: the famous countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński.
