A grandiose festival dedicated entirely to Richard Wagner's ten greatest operas, founded in 1876 by the composer himself.

One of the most prestigious musical events in the world... This small town has been celebrating it every year since 1876! The tribute is paid to the great composer Richard Wagner with the best orchestras in the world. Given the popularity of this festival, which attracts more than 500,000 people to Bayreuth, it's best to make reservations months in advance (at least!). The festival takes place in July and August to the delight of music lovers.

Lohengrin presented this year was a marvel, a distribution of high flight with a Klaus Florian Vogt in the title role that exceeds Jonas today Kaufman, beautiful and moving Annette Dasch As Elsa von turnwrest plow. Absolutely brilliant, spectacular and consistent staging.
A total success greeted by a half hour ovations thousand deserved times.
Bayreuth is magical.
