The Felsengarten Sanspareil is a stunning garden that integrates the existing rock structure of the Franconian massif and the medieval castle of Zwernitz. The project was completed under Margravine Wilhelmine in the 18th century. It is said to have taken its name from a visit by a courtesan who, on discovering this beautiful park, exclaimed (in French!): "C'est sans pareil! And she's right: this garden is one of a kind, brilliantly blending natural surroundings with man-made features.
