The Observatory of Fauna, Flora and Protected Areas of Togo (OFFAP) was born in 2015 from the observation that Togo is developing rapidly to the detriment of its many natural sites and rich biodiversity. Its aim is to safeguard its resources and endangered species by conducting wildlife surveys, raising public awareness and promoting listed sites. It also supervises trainees and organizes naturalist outings, particularly in the wetlands of Lake Togo.
