Don't expect a sumptuous palace; this is a simple residence in the heart of the Galapé district. When the king is present, it's possible to meet him. Failing that, his descendants organize a short guided tour, during which they tell the story of King Mlapa III, who signed the treaty annexing Togo to Germany with the explorer Nachtigal. The house houses the royal throne, on which the king's descendant still dispenses justice every Saturday morning. In the courtyard are the remains of a German cannon.

You request if you do not make yourself a little us when you enter the palace museum consists of a room with German and French flags worn, an armchair and a man who us request to greet it! But the prince keeps its serious! Is original because it surely our only opportunity to see a royal character in truth, not?
