Masks and fire dances, spiritual rituals and offerings to the deities mark the harvest festival of the Ifé of Ogou.
Harvest festival in Ogou. It is celebrated by the Ifé (Ana) of the Ogou prefecture. "Odon" means "festival" and "Tsu" is the genius of the earth, the mysterious force that makes cereals grow, especially yams. This festival is marked by spiritual and traditional ceremonies dedicated to Mother Earth. Numerous mask and fire dances in traditional costumes also enliven the ceremony. The day before, the tchébé dance on stilts and a war dance performed by the women can be appreciated.
