IRCOD TOGO
The IRCOD (Regional Institute for Development Cooperation), an association born in 1986 in Champagne-Ardenne, brings together and mobilizes non-traditional local actors in development aid. Representatives, entrepreneurs (traders, industrialists, farmers, craftsmen), academics, associative officials and qualified personalities animate the association. They form a network capable, at the same time, of designing and leading concrete and concerted North-South cooperation, and of defining and disseminating a common ethic of cooperation. IRCOD is present in West Africa and the Maghreb, around four Delegations (Oujda/Morocco, Freetown/Sierra Leone, Parakou/Benin and Sokodé/Togo). It has a rich expertise in four main areas: support for basic productive initiatives, international economic partnership, local community development and territorial management.
In Togo, the IRCOD provides technical support for materials, training and the accounting organisation of the craft and agro-processing structures, it financially supports the decentralized financial systems for women and farmers, supports the groups of farmers, implements rural equipment for the benefit of women's groups, supports networking and exchanges between development actors, participates in the network. organization of the Régionale regional Fair, which includes artisans, farmers, etc. in collaboration with GIPATO.
