Mango celebrates the Oti harvest festival, with offerings to the gods, colorful parades and wild dances.
Harvest festival of Oti. This festival was originally the religious festival of young girls: kouroubi. It takes place every year in Mango, in January. The name Koudapaani is a combination of three different names used by the populations but which all mean fertility and harvest: "Kouroubi - Dakou - Tigbanpaani". During this celebration, these people thank the deities and the spirits for the abundant harvests and their protection. There are also colorful parades and frenetic traditional dances.
