HÔPITAL DE L'ESPÉRANCE
It was built by the ABWE mission and has 60 beds, 4 operating theatres, a laboratory, radiology, maternity ward and an outpatient department. In addition to providing medical care, the hospital also has a chaplaincy service that prays for the sick and shares the Gospel. On the 23-hectare site where the hospital is located, an experimental farm has been set up to help those accompanying the sick and to support the hospital through the sale of agricultural produce. The hospital and farm are important tools for spreading the good news of the Gospel, and have helped to establish good contacts with the local population. Household Bible groups have been formed and training courses for spiritual leaders have been organized to pass on God's word. Hôpital de l'Esperance aims to serve the communities of northern Togo physically, spiritually and emotionally.
