FESTIVAL DANM WONCIL

Created in 2000, the Danm Woncil Festival (on the step of our ancestors) is a concrete response of DDC and its partners, namely RAFIA, 3 CAD, UCMECS and AFVP, to make cultural development an essential dimension of sustainable human development focused on solidarity and dialogue, and, by that same, to fight poverty. Overall, Danm Woncil aims to promote endogenous communication systems and tools in rural areas in the process of self-development. Since 2004, the festival has been held at biennial intervals. The actors and the public of the Festival Danm Woncil being rural, it is in the dead season, in dry season, that time is propitious for his organization. It is therefore assumed that the festival will be held in March.
