The Houey Hong Centre for Women's Skill Development is located in a quiet corner in the north of the city. Here you can learn how to dye textiles using natural pigments and then weave them using the traditional method. This association was created by a Lao-Japanese woman who wanted to train women from the villages. Visitors can watch for free or participate in the whole process and leave with their work.
