A good option for small budgets that this old Lao house (classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site) nestled in the heart of the historic centre. The rooms are very basic and vary in size and comfort, but you will be able to find one that suits you. The more expensive rooms have air conditioning and TV. They are impeccable. The cheaper ones are backpacker oriented, with shared bathroom. Their comfort is Spartan and they lack brightness. The staff is very helpful.
