MRS KANYA RESTAURANT
If not appreciated for its setting, this modest-looking restaurant is appreciated for its good local cuisine - noodle soups, stir-fried rice with all kinds of sauces... - and its family atmosphere. The restaurant depends on an economic and social project for the reconversion of poppy growers and the rehabilitation of opium consumers: an honorable action, when we know that opium production was developed to finance fratricidal wars; it is time to repair the damage! We recommend khao soy, a specialty of Northern Laos.
