Long distance connections (outside the province). Be aware that the tuk-tuk that leave from the city center to the bus station only leave once they are full!
To Houay Xay. Departure at 9am and 1:30pm, with a stop at Ta Fa, and Vieng Phouka. Reserve your place the day before. Count 65 000 kips for a 4 hours trip. From Vientiane, buses going to Houay Xay also pass through Luang Namtha.
To Luang Prabang. Departure at 9:30am or 9pm, count 9 hours of travel and 100 000 kips.
To Phonsaly. Departure at 8:30 am. Count 5 hours of travel and 90 000 kips.
