SABAIDEE THAKHEK

This pleasant restaurant offers a wide choice of Lao and Western dishes, prepared with varying degrees of success. The Sabaidee has a covered room and a pleasant terrace to admire the sunset over the Mekong River. Very good breakfasts also with pancakes, scrambled eggs and baguette. The rates are very accessible, rather oriented towards a clientele of backpackers with long journeys. The small adjoining bar, in front of an old dilapidated wall, has just two tables but is very nice. Helpful staff and good atmosphere.
