The lodge in the Chaminuka private reserve (located about 40 km from the airport) has a few carefully decorated chalets in the local African style. Nothing luxurious but comfort. The prices are reasonable. The game drive is more like Thoiry than a safari, but with children it is entertaining. Their flagship tours: walking a cheetah, interacting with elephants or feeding lions, for an extra fee. It is far from reintroduction, but at least they are saved from poaching.
