The excellent Gigibonta ice cream parlour, a community-based project to help reintegrate street children - which has been a resounding success in Lusaka - began operations in Ndola several years ago. It still maintains ice cream and pastry outlets in the sprawling city, in the Jacaranda and Kansenshi shopping centers. In addition to its delicious homemade ice creams, Gigibontà offers a wide range of snacks and pastries. An ideal address for quick lunches or snacks and with flexible hours.
