A short distance from the north bank of the Yangon River, the Rosewood stands majestically on its 1930s columns. Built by Scottish architect Thomas Oliphant Foster, the building houses a luxurious hotel. Bronze fixtures, spa, very nice bar and restaurant rooms, high ceilings. In the rooms, all the comfort is there to enjoy a cosy stay. Located in the heart of downtown, here, you will need to get up high to cool off in the swimming pool on the terrace, with a clear view of the river.
